Hotels Near Osaka Station and USJ With Triple Rooms and One Bed per Guest (10,000 Yen or More)

English Articles

Hello! I’m Joe (@chiropiyo0331).

This time I’m introducing hotels around Osaka Station and Universal Studios Japan (USJ) that have triple rooms where each guest is guaranteed their own bed.

Osaka Station has a modern station building and commercial facilities such as Grand Front Osaka, where you can enjoy shopping and dining, and USJ is a hugely popular theme park about 20 minutes from Osaka Station by train, with attractions and entertainment.

Whether it’s a girls’ trip with three close friends, a trip for three guys, a three-generation trip for a mother, daughter, and grandmother, or a family trip with kids, there are many occasions when three people travel together. When choosing a hotel around Osaka Station and USJ, have you ever struggled to find one with a triple room?

“A two-person room with an extra bed or sofa bed”
“A triple room where only one bed is small”
and so on.

You don’t want to ruin a fun trip by arguing over beds, or by taking turns on the better bed out of consideration for each other, right?

In this article, I introduce hotels around Osaka Station and USJ with triple rooms that have one bed per person and cost 10,000 yen or more per person.

Osaka: List of Hotels With Triple Rooms Around Osaka Station and USJ (10,000 Yen or More) (1)

Around Osaka Station there are not only sightseeing spots such as Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky Building, USJ, and Dotonbori, but also many gourmet spots where you can enjoy Osaka specialties like takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu. There are nearly 200 hotels in the Osaka Station and USJ area alone.

If you search a travel booking site for three guests in one room, you get triple rooms with extra beds or triple rooms with sofa beds, and in practice they’re awkward to use.

So I checked hotels around Osaka Station and USJ one by one to see whether they have triple rooms with one bed per person costing 10,000 yen or more per person, and summarized the results. Please use it as a reference.

In a way it may make choosing easier, but triple rooms with one bed per person are precious!

*Twin rooms, Japanese-style rooms, and Japanese-Western rooms that assume use of extra beds or sofa beds have been excluded in advance.

The hotels are listed from the cheapest.

If you want to stay at a high-end hotel around Osaka Station and USJ with a triple room that has one bed per person and costs 10,000 yen or more, you’ll choose from the eight above.

Room sizes range from 30 ㎡ at the smallest to 40 ㎡ at the largest.

When three people stay in one room, 36 ㎡ or more lets you stay comfortably even with luggage.

Triple-room hotels around Osaka Station and USJ tend to be relatively small, so it’s a good idea to choose according to how you’ll use the room.

Prices range from 10,580 yen to 32,300 yen, and the most expensive hotel, Hotel Universal Port Vita, comes to about 32,000 yen per person per night.

If you’re considering a hotel within walking distance of USJ for the night before or after your visit, expect to pay about 18,000 yen or more per night!

Details of Hotels With Triple Rooms Around Osaka Station and USJ (10,000 Yen or More)

You’d like to stay somewhere a little luxurious, but surprisingly the hard part is finding a hotel with a triple room that guarantees one bed per person.

Here are the hotels around Osaka Station and USJ that offer triple rooms.

I also researched the plumbing details that official sites rarely mention but that people care about, and I introduce them as well.

If you require a separate bath, washbasin, and toilet, the number narrows, but fortunately most of the hotels are the separate type.

Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka

Osaka: Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka (1)

Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka is an accommodation-focused hotel run by Hankyu Hanshin Hotels, with traditional colors and patterns used throughout the building to express Japanese design in a modern way.

It’s well located, just one stop from the major stations of Osaka Station and Umeda Station.

At Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka, the room with three guaranteed beds is the Triple Room.

Rates are set on average 2,000 to 3,000 yen lower than at the main building, Hotel Hanshin Osaka, so you can stay reasonably.

★ Read my review of Hotel Hanshin Osaka, the main building, here!

It’s the cheapest of the high-end hotels at 10,000 yen or more per night, and it’s run by Hankyu Hanshin Hotels, so you can feel at ease. Best value!

In the modern room with a sense of “Japan,” three 120 cm-wide beds are arranged in an L shape, with a two-person sofa and a round table in the remaining space.

By the window there’s a desk and two chairs, so there’s enough space beyond the beds to be comfortable.

The bath, toilet, and washbasin are all separate, so you shouldn’t have any complaints about the plumbing.

For breakfast, you’ll be completely full with a Japanese-Western buffet of about 30 items, including juwari (100% buckwheat) soba.

Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka

Osaka: Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka (1)

Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka is a new hotel brand with the concepts of “rest” and “inspire,” a large high-rise tower hotel whose guest rooms use colors that express Osaka under the theme “OSAKA Japanese Style.”

At Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka, the room with three guaranteed beds is the High-Floor Deluxe Triple.

Other room types, including the High-Floor Standard Triple, Universal Triple, and Standard Triple, are also available.

The High-Floor Deluxe Triple is a room limited to the 30th floor and above, using the Osaka Castle color theme, and it’s 33 ㎡.

Because the beds are lined up in a long, narrow room, the leftover space is almost just a passage, which is a pity, but you can chat while enjoying the night view from the room.

The breakfast restaurant “Grigliato CUOCA” takes its name from the pun “oishii mono kuokka” (“let’s eat something delicious”), and it offers a balanced Japanese-Western buffet with a wide range, from breakfast staples like salad, bread, and grilled fish to kitsune udon and inari sushi.

At Oriental Hotel Universal City, the room with three guaranteed beds is the Deluxe Triple.

The Deluxe Triple is 35 ㎡, plenty of space for three guests!
