ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka Hotel Details

Now let me introduce the details of the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka where I stayed.
This time I came from Kitashinchi Station and arrived after about a 7-minute walk.

The main entrance is large, and you can tell even from outside that the interior has a gorgeous atmosphere. I can’t wait!

The lobby has a high ceiling and gleams in gold, so it’s dazzling.
If you sit on the sofa, you might actually feel restless!
Check-in

Just inside the main entrance, there’s a large front desk on the left.
Hotel staff are always standing by near the front desk, so they respond right away if you need anything.

Luggage is kept in front of or behind the front desk, and staff keep watch nearby, so it’s very safe.
At check-in there wasn’t much of a tour of the hotel; I filled in my name and address and was handed my room key right away.
If you pay on-site, you settle the bill at check-out.
A bellboy carries your luggage to the room for you!
Guest Room

With the room key in hand, I headed straight to the room!
The elevator hall is on the opposite side from the front desk, to the right of the main entrance.
The elevators are gold-themed too.

The elevators are roomy and the buttons are easy to press, but the door open/close buttons are fairly high up, so shorter people may have trouble reaching them.

The elevator hall uses calm beige and brown tones, making for a very relaxing guest floor.

The guest room corridor is wide, so you can bring large luggage without any trouble.

My room was Room 1518, a Superior Twin.

The two 120 cm-wide semi-double beds have a strong presence, but the room is even bigger, so it doesn’t feel cramped.
It’s carpeted, and looks like a place to relax comfortably.

A photo taken from the back of the room. You can see the TV is placed so it’s easy to watch from either bed.

There’s space at the foot of the beds too, enough to open up one large suitcase.

By the window there are two sofa chairs and a center table.
There’s an outlet next to the table, so you can use it as a workspace too.

The TV is large and very easy to watch. The TV stand and work desk are built as one unit.

A comfortable office chair and a work desk. It’s roomier than a typical business hotel.

A luggage rack with enough space for a small carry-on suitcase.

There’s space between the beds, so it doesn’t feel cramped.

The bed frame has one outlet and two USB ports.
There’s also an internal phone, an alarm clock, and various light switches.

A minibar near the room door comes with two each of mineral water bottles, electric kettles, glasses, and mugs.
The mineral water is free.

There’s a wide selection of instant drinks, including sencha, oolong tea, chamomile herbal tea, black tea, and coffee.

Open the door at floor level and you’ll find the refrigerator. It’s small, but there’s freezer space too.
Washbasin, Bathroom, and Toilet

In the Superior Twin, the washbasin is separate, while the bathroom and toilet are combined in one unit.

The washbasin is clean and spacious. Amenities, a hair dryer, and everything you need are provided.

Amenities include POLA moisture lotion, face wash, a toothbrush set, a razor, a comb, cotton swabs, and more.

The bathroom and toilet aren’t separate, but the space is nearly twice the size of a typical business hotel, so you can enjoy a relaxed bath without feeling cramped. The shower pressure is strong.

A set of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner from Antipodes, an eco-friendly organic brand from New Zealand.
Fitness Gym at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka

There’s a fitness gym on the 5th floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka, and hotel guests can use it freely 24 hours a day with their room key.

Towels are free to use, and there’s chilled mineral water in the refrigerator, one free bottle per person.
Sauna at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka

The 5th floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka also has a pool and sauna facility, available for an additional 1,500 yen.

You can pay at the counter, and of course you can also charge it to your room.
You get one complimentary bottle of mineral water, and you can choose either room-temperature or cold.

You can also relax in a reclining chair while watching TV.

The changing room has lockers with keys, and plenty of robes and bath towel sets are provided, so you can go from your room empty-handed!

The sauna is L-shaped and about 90°C, so people used to saunas may find it a little mild.
However, few people use it, so you get the luxury of having it nearly to yourself.
I used the hourglass to sweat for 10 minutes!!

The bath area is compact, but it has a hot bath and a cold plunge pool that fit two to three people.
Breakfast at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka
ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka has two breakfast venues.
One is the Japanese-Western buffet at “Cafe In The Park” on the 1st floor. The other is the Japanese set meal at “Kyoryori Tankuma Kitamise” on the 6th floor.
With a breakfast plan you can choose either one, but the Japanese-Western buffet costs slightly more, at 3,900 yen per adult.
This time I chose the popular Japanese-Western buffet.

The lighting and plants, which make for a rich start to the day, really get your appetite going.
The first thing that catches your eye is the salad corner.
There’s lettuce, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, green beans, cucumber, burdock salad, and more. You can choose from four kinds of dressing.
The breads are bite-sized, including wheat germ rolls, peach custard Danish, chocolate cream Danish, low-fat muffins, white bread, baguettes, rye bread, croissants, and soft rolls.
There are pancakes too, which kids love!

The live kitchen serves eggs: sunny-side up, scrambled, poached, boiled, omelets, and white omelets.
If you like, you can have a single ramekin filled with tomato, ham, mushrooms, green onion, and onion.
If you’d like cheese, just tell the cook directly.
Hot dishes include braised pork belly, french fries, sausages, bacon, and fried rice.
There’s even okonomiyaki, the soul food of Osaka people who are particular about flour-based dishes!
I hear that in the Kansai region, people eat okonomiyaki as a side dish with rice!

Bamboo shoots simmered in soy sauce and bonito, red-and-white kamaboko, simmered pumpkin, Tanba black beans, bite-sized kelp rolls, and lemon-flavored sweet potato.
There are so many side dishes to go with rice that it’s hard to choose!
Mentaiko, onsen eggs, simmered clams, natto, seasoned nori, shirasu, kappa pickles, pickled plums, takana, Aki Murasaki (Aki Murasaki), tororo, okra, bubuarare, mitsuba, salted kelp, and shredded nori.
Which one is your favorite?

For the miso soup, the ingredients and the miso are served separately, and you can add as much as you like of four ingredients: tofu, fu (wheat gluten), wakame, and green onion.
Miso soup goes so well with a chilly morning body!
Yogurt, cereal, dried fruit, and nuts are plentiful too.
There are three kinds of yogurt: Meiji Plain Yogurt (sweetened), Meiji Aloe Yogurt, and Danone Bio Plain Yogurt.
Dried fruits include raisins, cranberries, and dried mango, and the nuts are almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.
Drinks include orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, and more, but I recommend the green smoothie, which is high in dietary fiber and cleans up your gut.
