Bangkok is one of the world’s leading tourist cities.
From five-star luxury hotels to boutique hotels with outstanding value, there are countless hotels here — but most of them are actually configured with either one king bed or two twin beds!
When you try to book for three people, you tend to end up with one of the following patterns.
- Extra bed: a folding cot is squeezed into a twin room
- Sofa bed: the sofa in the living area is made up as a bed

It really makes you want to say, “Come on, seriously?”
Even if everyone starts out saying “It’s fine, we’re only sleeping!”,

So this time, I’ve carefully selected hotels offering something rare in Bangkok: rooms that come with three proper single beds from the start.

There are several thousand hotels around Bangkok that can accommodate three people.
But when you search for a room for three on an overseas travel booking site, you get rooms with one king bed, or two double beds, or one queen bed.
That might be fine for a family of three, but for a girls’ trip or three friends travelling together, it’s far from comfortable.
So I checked hotels around Bangkok one by one to see which ones offer triple rooms with a bed for every guest, and organized the results into a table.
Since overseas travel tends to be more tiring than domestic travel, and travelers tend to want a certain grade of hotel, we surveyed hotels rated 4 stars or higher.
*As a precondition, we excluded hotels that use extra beds or sofa beds, hotels with 3 beds but a capacity of 4 or more guests, and vacation homes. Below are the hotels in Bangkok rated 4 stars or higher with triple rooms where each guest is guaranteed their own bed.

Looking at where these guaranteed-bed triple-room hotels are located, they are concentrated in Bangkok’s two main central areas: Sukhumvit Road and Siam–Pratunam.
If you want the cheapest option: Bangkok Palace Hotel
The cheapest hotel in Bangkok with a triple room that guarantees a bed for each guest is Bangkok Palace Hotel.
There are several areas that make a good base for sightseeing in Bangkok, but Pratunam is especially convenient and popular!
- A treasure trove of shopping and food: huge fashion markets and modern shopping malls are packed close together, plus plenty of lively street food
- Outstanding access: a station on the Airport Rail Link (ARL) connecting Suvarnabhumi International Airport is nearby, making the trip from the airport smooth
- Central Bangkok: BTS (Skytrain) stations are also within walking distance, ideal for sightseeing around the city
With all of the above, it’s a highly recommended area to stay for a first trip to Thailand!

Trips to Bangkok for three come in many forms — not just girls’ trips, but family trips with children, a thank-you trip with your father, mother and daughter, or three friends travelling together.
And the biggest headache here is finding a hotel with a triple room!
Many Bangkok hotels simply force an extra bed into a double room, and it’s not unusual for one person to end up cramped, or for there to be no space left to open your suitcases.
In fact, though, Bangkok has plenty of spacious triple rooms with three proper beds guaranteed.

You can get here from Suvarnabhumi International Airport in one ride with no transfers, and connecting to the BTS from there gets you smoothly to Siam, Sukhumvit and the riverside sightseeing areas — really convenient!

It’s very reasonably priced among hotels with 3 guaranteed beds, but the room is only about 24–26㎡. With three people, you’ll generally spend a fair amount of time on the beds.
There’s limited space to open large suitcases, so you’ll need to be a little creative with your luggage. But if you’d rather keep accommodation costs down and put the savings toward sightseeing, shopping and Thai food, this hotel offers value that’s hard to argue with.
